What is the difference between Child Find and a medical evaluation?
Child Find is run by the school system and decides eligibility for special education. A medical evaluation is done by a clinician and can lead to a formal diagnosis, which TRICARE’s autism program and some other plans require. Blue Sails offers autism evaluations.
