## Telehealth or Bethesda

From Westminster, the most direct route to Bethesda follows MD 27 south toward I-270, roughly an hour and 15 minutes without traffic. From Eldersburg and Sykesville it’s a little quicker.

That time adds up over weekly sessions, so many clients choose telehealth for regular care and save office visits for when they want them.

## Care for Carroll County families

Carroll County is federally designated as a mental health shortage area for residents on Medicaid, and it has fewer mental health clinicians per resident than the state average. About 368 residents share each mental health clinician, compared with about 273 statewide (County Health Rankings 2025).

Our Bethesda office is about 29–63 miles (57–91 minutes in light traffic) from Westminster and nearby towns, so most Carroll County families see us by telehealth. Therapy and psychiatric visits, including evaluations, can happen from home.
